Did any other small arms of WWII have a similar rpm? Considering the time period, 1500-1800 was insane!!

Why do they have so much uniforms of the Wehrmacht compared to Germany?! Haven´t seen such uniforms in germany ever on a event about war here...

No recoil at all?

1:15 "Loader, heels down, we are not in a gipsy camp where everyone can do what he want!" When he wares a german uniform he should at least try to act authentic:) Nice vid anyway!

According to the rate of fire and the shape of the blanks it seems to be a .308 version, maybe a converted MG1 or MG3. The Maschinengewehr usually is used pushing/leaning hard toward the front whilst prone, so the bipod is leaned towards the shooting direction. It keeps helping to control the recoil.
The ones at the end are the real deal. With the original MG42, you can't keep single shots apart, it's a ripping sound and ripping it does best! -
Funny, how loosly the guy handle the MG. If this would be Live Ammo, the guy will find himself 1m behind. The kickback is incredible. i fired it (the MG3) in my army time.

Norway still use this weapon. Have used this a several times when i was in the army. Still have many belts for it at home
