Lol! I started hearing these goofy sounds from trucks a few years ago and I had the same reaction!! They must have been in a meeting saying "the normal backup sound is fine but people just don't pay attention to it. Maybe if we make it make more noise people will realize that we are actually backing up"!! Lol at those people!!

Sure is loud.. wow..
