Machines | World's Largest Truck - The Terex Titan!
videos | at work | information | view | construction
We visited the world's largest truck this summer, or what used to be the world's largest truck... but it's still in the Guiness book of Records as being the world's largest tandem axle rear dumping hauler ever built. Be sure to subscribe to Morgan Madness: https://goo.gl/7CGX0T The Terex 33-19 "Titan" was a prototype off-highway, ultra class, rigid frame, three-axle, diesel/AC electric powertrain haul truck designed by the Terex Division of General Motors and assembled at General Motors Diesel Division's London, ON, Canada assembly plant in 1973. Only one 33-19 was ever produced and it was the largest, highest capacity haul truck in the world for 25 years. After 13 years in service, the 33-19 was restored and is now preserved on static display as a tourist attraction in Sparwood, BC, Canada. id love to go on a rampage with one of these. lets see the cops stop that! not even a tank could stop it. they would need to bomb it with fighter jets, thats the only way or a nuke

It would be interesting to see the gear reduction in those wheels.

I bet if the titan wasn't loaded like in this video, the train would probably take it down the tracks a bit depending on how fast it was going. But if the titan was loaded with dirt and rocks, the train may only tip it over at best, but then the train would probably stop after that unless it was going like 60 mph. That would be some sight though.

You always see on video what happens to an 18 wheeler that crosses paths with a train and how the train keeps going while hitting it's brakes taking the 18 wheeler down the tracks as if it were a hood ornament lol. I wonder what would happen if a train crossed paths with one of these monsters going across the tracks? I wish somebody would do a test without people inside obviously, but I wonder if the locomotive and all of it's cars would push this huge dump truck down the tracks as well?

Hey, I want one of those to convert into an R.V. Maybe I could build a house on it. Would the house/ R.V. be insured from flood damage?... [LOL]
