A Cat 966K loader with a large self powered Kodiak snow blower working along the railroad tracks near Big Lake, Minnesota. The last minute of the video shows the machine running full bore throwing three foot deep chunky snow that was plowed away from the tracks. The plume of steam and smoke seen in the distance towards the end of the video is from Xcel Energy's Sherco power plant in Becker, Mn..

Our city has a fleet of these, as does most cites I would think.Especially in the snow prone areas of the country. They make great spectator 'sport' to watch in action.

Must be No. 2, as I remember my childhood in Montreal and St. Laurent the Sicard Snowmaster was THE machine.

in montreal airport we have a couple of them that are alot bigger and crazy .... one sounds like a jet engine when it eat heavy snow lol cool vid tho
