Well done you made it look easy. Did the rear set of wheels on that crane steer? That is a good sized lathe . how long is the bed?

I forgot to mention that you had a very good team working with you that day. They made everything look easy but I know it's hard and a nerve wrecking job. You have done a lot of work at the new shop also. Great job!
-
I was just wondering if the owner of the old shop compensated you for the tremendous amount of work you did to his building?
-
Great video! Good luck!
-
hmm...I had the impression that your workshop was farther away that that...

I suppose 100tn means metric tons, or tonnes as the British call it? I thought for sure that at the old workshop, the extension was much too long, but then I noticed the hydraulic jack propping up the truck. After that I decided everybody knew what they were doing. Magnificent. When you have heavy equipment to move, use even heavier equipment. At the old workshop, I note you had even less snow than we have (maybe 2-3 cm). At the new shop, it was snowing but no snow on ground. A blessing, because moving anything in deep snow is either difficult or impossible. On the other hand I cannot ski. Merry Christmas!

Must have been fun to do it together with friends! Nice move.

Ahhhahh, that was easy! That was like a kid's game! That VOLVO FH 12 Truck, yeah... dream, 5axles, extending platform, crane lifting capacity 20....30 tonnes "at board" and long boom. Also team is important.
Great video! Good luck!
Cheers! -
Well done! Good planning great results. Cheers

Sunppaa, wonderful video...! Very cool to see machines moved like that. That TOS is a beauty... The move was close to poetry... Now I look forward to seeing your shop evolve... Thanks very much, Daniel.

Great Job! The hard parts are behind you already. Those machine skates look interesting, what is the brand? or are they shop made?
-
Totally cool Man! I was surprised to see the lathe go in headstock first instead of being toward the door in case you needed to work on both ends of a long piece through the headstock... :o) O,,,

That is the Swiss Army knife of trucks! If Optimus Prime were a real truck, that would be him! Excellent job on the move and thanks for the great video.
-
That was a very interesting crane truck. Just what you needed.
-
100 tonne...yikes! I didn't think they made those types of cranes that big.
-
Congratulations on managing that potentially difficult task successfully on a dirty, horrible weather day. Now just have to get everything else back home as well from the various places you have it stored! The lorry driver and his lift I thought were brilliant.
Those machine skates, toe lift jack, a smooth floor and adequate quality helpers made the whole thing go easier than I expected. -
That is one bad-ass transforming crane arm.
-
Now that you have moved your machines, what happens to the old workshop that you spend so much time and money on repairing in the past?
-
Very nice and competent work and beautiful workshop, congratulations.

Lots of heavy moving but now you are very near getting a working shop. Congratulations on the progress so far. Thanks for sharing.
