I watched the video. Got the tractor started! It only runs with the choke pulled out about 1/2 way? Does this mean the points are going out or that the carb needs to be cleaned? Thanks!

My 8n has a full charge but it cranks really slow and it has a new starter it still crank slow

This is a great video because it not only teaches well but I love the idea that it is hosted by a young woman who helps smash the stereotypes. My daughter is going to love this. We will be working on our 8N together with direction from your videos. Thanks a ton!

I bought a 52 model 8N not running with the 6 volt system, it looks like someone tried to fix it but really messed up the wiring... is the ground to the coil on 6 volts? any body know???

she is super cute and good at this

So what was wrong on this one that got it running (what was the source of the problem?) The video never covered it.

I've got my eye on an old 8N. Thanks Rachel for the great information. The whole production is very professional, clear and concise. Before watching your vids I didn't know anything about tractors. Your vids have been bookmarked as a perfect reference source.

Rachel is an excellent teacher and a very beautiful lady she really helped me with my old 900 while I knew most of it there were a few things that really helped thank you angel ...from bama

you guys are outstanding. Rachel is phenomenal. I have a quick question why would I not be getting fire to points 1 and 2 on my front mount Ford 8N distributor? I'm getting fire on 3 and 4.

It could also be stuck floats

Sometimes you have to go through this procedure with older tractors, but I have a newer tractor which won't start. I have checked the battery after tightening the ground wire. The other parts which can cause problems will be checked next to see if they are still fine on the John Deere tractor I am working on.

ok, you helped. but I have a massey Harrison 50. 1957. that would start. it turns over . I have to turn the starter on by jumping the solioid.
