I find it crazy how little Americans recycle compared to the rest of the developed world. I mean here in Australia EVERY SINGLE house, apartment, unit, townhouse has a recycling bin, and nearly all public bins have a recycling section too.

One more thing, I think if the residential structure can be embedded with asshole "piping inject" where Human's gas can be sucked in right through them to where they can be converted into Money, this would bring many savings and advantages to price tag of cleanup!!!!
-
I think amount of waste depends heavily on the amount made to be waste...... !!!!

This form of waste disposal is completely outdated. Back in stone age they used to get rid of their waste this way. NewYork should burn their waste and produce electric power and heat. This form of waste disposal is standard in Switzerland for more than 50 years. Garbage is a valuable source of energy. It's called "thermal treatment". Only the ash is specially disposed and used for landfilling. We heat our cities with waste. Back in the old days we used to burry our waste as well. That's now a billion dollar time bomb, poisoning our water and the enviroment. In such landfillings a lot of unclassified waste from the chemical and pharmaceutical industrie was dumped as well. So it's like suprise box with highly contaminated stuff in it. My generation needs to pay now for the mistakes done 50 years ago.

Cities are completely unsustainable. They're the epitome of colonialism and their foot prints extend far beyond the city limits from import to export. Cities themselves are essentially well organized piles trash stacked up so high and dense nature is extinguished beneath.

looks like a lot of potential fuel for a new type of power plant to me. Nope just dump it. just have figure out how to dissipate the fumes cleanly back into the air.

And those guys who got interviewed in 4:35, you would expect them to be more sensitive to the trash problem...are holding single-use plastic in their hands.
-
I would like to know where does trash containing chemicals such as solvents or flammable liquids go? Do they try to find and separate them from other trash. I feel certain some people out there inappropriately throw things like this in the trash.
-
Huh, I always thought it went to New Jersey. "shots fired"
-
They took those jobs from the blacks
-
Much of it actually is taken by boat to ALABAMA as well
-
Wow awesome.....go USA go.
