This video should really be called spray or roll. I am a DIYer and don't own a sprayer I just wanted to know what to start with ceiling or walls? I gave up after 5 minutes.
-
Why not spray the ceiling first? Overspray never goes up. Then you don't have to mask all the walls. Spray the ceiling without masking, spray trim and doors without masking, cut in/masking, then roll/spray walls. Just curious if there's a disadvantage to this order?

Hey Chris,
Great video. I have one more scenario that I need some help with. We already had our walls and ceiling painted. We decided to replace all of our trim afterwards which we have been painting by brush before we put it up. What is the best way to paint the trim for its second coat once installed and patched without getting paint on the walls or floors? Thanks for your help. -
After painting trim with oil based paint how many hours should I wait to cure before masking?
-
like your videos bu,t can not always here you.
-
as 8:30 you say paint the trim and then mask it to paint the walls. then to remove mask from trim while it's still wet. do I wait for trim to dry and mask the 90 degree corner to the wall?
-
When painting walls and ceilings same color what sheen of paint should I use? satin on walls and ceilings? This is new drywall 2600 sq foot house spraying with Graco airless.
-
how do you go about spraying trim when there is carpet in the room Chris?
-
Hi there! I love your videos. And I love how there's always a bible verse! Hey could you please tell me where you get that yellow hose you use with your sprayer? It looks like it rotates indepenantly from the gun which is what I need! I get so tangled up with the rigid hose it came with! Thanks!!

You can find a clip on mic on Amazon for about $20. Sound is horrible
-
What is flashing? Thanks
-
Oh brother...You spent too many time repeating the same thing. It caused your video to be boring.
-

chris can you do the tape & clear caulking trick to get straight lines if your using oilbase johnny seattle

I hate to be a downer. but being from jersey and working in ny. high end work of course. it's always ceilings walls trim. guys that do trim 1st, don't know how to use a brush. cutting the trim returns to the wall looks much better. and if u r getting the right $ for the job, the little extra time doesn't matter. by the time u prep for spray in an occupied home I can have the work done. if u disagree, let me know y.
