On Feb. 17, 2016, 15 participants of Work Ready Oklahoma's program graduated at TEEM. The latest is a heavy equipment operating program being offered at the Union City Community Corrections Center (UCCCC). The six-week course teaches the basic principles of how to safely and efficiently run and operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, road graders and bobcats. Equipment and instructors for the course are provided by Mid-America Technology Center in Wayne. Combined with the heavy equipment class graduation were nine men who are part of the third graduating class from the Skills Center Mobile Welding Program offered to participants at the Clara Water Corrections Center.
