A Volkswagen Engineer involved with the company's emissions cheating scandal has pleaded guilty. James Robert Liang pleaded guilty Friday to one count of conspiracy to defraud the government through wire fraud and says he will testify against others. Volkswagen has confessed to putting software in thousands of its diesel cars that turned on pollution controls only while emissions tests were conducted, leaving them off the rest of the time.
