   Am using Cloudera QuickStart VM 5.8 on Virtual Box 5.1.2. My Mac has 8 GB of RAM and 2.5 GHz i5 Processor.
   Have used same setting as shown in above vedio, but when I start VM it opens a new window with black screen with no error log.
   
   Can some help please.

   I am having problems in starting cloudera manager it is connecting for hours with cloudera 5.5 version.
   i have 8 gb ram on my machine.i am confused , when i get to cloudera manager , do i need to chose "cloudera Express"?if yes, it required 8 GB ram but obviously i can't allocate all the 8 GB to vm or else my computer will crash.. can you please suggest what to do

9. Hi, I created it as Linux and other linux(64bit) from virtual box. When I open the machine it always displaying as black box, nothing comes up even after 30mins

13. using macbook and getting error when trying to Use the exisiting virtual hard disk file. Once I select the Cloudera quickstart .vmdk file, I get error Failed to Open disk image file: Could not get the storage format of the medium
    
    What should I do. please help
14. when I try to boot Hue does not automatically load like that. I just get taken to UEFI interactive shell. I'm also on a mac and using virtualbox. Any suggestions? Thank you.
