1080p HD! For several weekends during Autumn the East Coast Mainline is shut between Berwick-Upon-Tweed and Edinburgh for engineering work. On these days East Coast are running an hourly service between Scotland & London. These services run from London King's Cross to Newcastle like usual, between joining the Carlisle line and going over to the WCML for the journey across the border into Scotland. So in light of this I decided I'd go for a ride on one. This is 14:45 departure from Carlisle but 13:23 from Edinburgh which was a EMT Hst set on hire to VTEC but very rare to see a EMT Hst at Carlisle so I decided to jump on at the last minutes I got some nice shots of the countryside on the tyre line but we got to Newcastle 6 minutes late because due to we cought up with a stopper service which was a ahead of up but we made up time on departing Newcastle but we got back into London just before 20:00 and watch out for the new seats on this set as well and that is all i can say but keep a look of it on the ECML and that is 2 more sets on the ECML as well there will be more videos coming soon.
