Its grey, it is masquerading as a Fergy!

What was the difference between these and the British Fergusons?
-
I have a ford 8n-b tractor and I like this old adds.
-
America and the greatest generation at work! I would take that time period of freedom and opportunity any time. God bless everyone who sacrificed and worked so hard for what we are losing today.
-
This is a nice video, it's amazing to me that they didn't put on a back rest or arm rest's for long farming runs or days ?
-
You just gotta love them using a 3 bottom plow to demo this "new Ford" with. :/
-
the last 8n s built had live pto and hydraulics, and proof meters
-
my nab or has a golden jubilee and gold demonstrator tractor
-
I have one of these 63 year old tractors and it still a pleasure to operate.
-
I love this tractor. I'm not a country boy but always loved them! Wish I could own one but no land to enjoy it on. Nevermind , I can still enjoy viewing all these ace tractor films on YouTube :-D
-
I have a 1956 601 which looks just like it. Didn't know about the extra stuff they had for them back then or the hydraulic flow control.
-
Looks like a lot of trouble just to remove that plow.
-
Looks like a 1951 year. I started out on a tractor like that. I had to stand up on the clutch to shift.

You see...this was the United States of America making these tractors. That country doesn't exist anymore. Between liberalism, fake global warming, and environmental fraud agency....we couldn't make this tractor any more. Oh...and consumer safety groups would shut this down in a second with an hour long special about how unsafe it is on 60 minutes. Now you buy an imported Mahindra or Kubota. They know how to do it better. Ford is only concerned about making the EPA happy these days with fake high MPG hybrid cars and aluminum pickups.

These are the easiest tractors to drive and why did ford get out of the business

were do I find the vin # on a massey ferguson tractor

Grandpa had a 2N. Those little tractors could really pull more then you would think if you used the 3 point to let the front end of the tractor help with traction at the back. Dad told me lots of stories about hooking up trees in the woods for firewood and walking the Ford out on two wheels steering with the brakes pulling huge loads. They used it for cultivating, and haymaking like raking and mowing. When they bought a New Holland Hayliner 68 baler though, it proved to be harsh on the tractor, the shorter stroke engine didn't like that big plunger stroke, it made the governor work overtime. Grandpa had an old C Case too, even though it was less HP, that TANK of a tractor with its super long stroke heavy, heavy engine handled the baler better, so they used that and pulled the wagons with the Ford. Solid little tractors, and could do more work than what they look like they should be able to.
