Machines | Vermeer S800TX Mini Skid Steer Overview/Review

I show off our (somewhat) new mini-skid and give my opinion on it. Sorry for the horrible audio on some parts, just got a new gopro and need to adjust it. https://www.vermeer.com/NA/en/N/equipment/mini_skid_steers/s800tx

Two words : Gra. Pple.

Looks nice but it would be too wide for most gates around here. Our two Ditch Witch SK650s fit through a 36" gate. We have 3 different buckets, two grapples, forks, and an auger for planting. Grapples get used the most by far.

Did you get the left side traction motor squared away? I have a John Deere 1 series that will lift 800 lbs but you know how it is with a machine with tires, more damage to the ground can occur in wet areas. Nice unit, thanks for the review.

You need a grapple. I have the vermeer grapple on my ditch witch. Grapple is 10x better than forks. We use mine to feed the chipper, haul brush and move logs. They are awesome that's for sure.
