these guys might become soldiers but they are definitely not equipment operators

The backhoe seems like a nice design. Lightweight, 4 wheel steering and good balance. But the visibility seems really poor.
And the skid-steer is a skid-steer. Hard to improve on that. lol. -
can we get some full buckets please where is the productivity

Send in the Troops!...My municipality has descended to new lows with it's "Lowest Bidder" shenanigans. The "Post Katrina" (only took 'em 10 years to get 'round to it) street repair work in my area is assuredly the WORST quality I have ever seen. Planning, QC, code enforcement, and homeowner complaints appeared to be their LAST concern.
OH...I'm very sure there was some FEMA leadership and Federal money involved in these "repairs ?" (if that's what they call them). One local inspector (dunce) offered to call the PD on ME! on getting rowed about one of my stern complaints. The SOB laughed when I told him I was a Tax Payer!
Sadly lacking INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS are despairingly needed right here in the U.S. but they must be done correctly by conscientious, dedicated, vested, and VISIONARY (we have a future if we work for it) people. NOT,NOT,NOT the money grubbing lowest bidder. -
They clearly don't teach 'em how to fill a bucket in engineer school. Christ, what a display.
