I am not a Combat Vet but I served in the 2nd Armored Division from 1981-1983. A very good place and experience for a young soldier. 17th Engineer Battalion. The John Henry Battalion.

My husband's grandpa, Johnie Farmer was a Bronze Star Recipient in the Co A 17 Armored Engineer Battalion. I'm still trying to find details of what he did to receive the Bronze Star, but it sounds like it may have been when his group of engineers built that bridge in 7 hours under fire. Thanks for the video! I can't wait to show my husband!!
