Machines | Unexpected Landing: Jetstar Plane Diverted to Brisbane After Engine Fault
videos | at work | information | view | construction
http://www.undergroundworldnews.com ENGINEERS are trying to determine what caused an engine fault on a Jetstar plane that made an unexpected landing in Brisbane. The plane was en route from the Gold Coast to Christchurch this morning, but was diverted shortly after takeoff when an engine failed to operate on full power. The airliner landed in Brisbane about 10am (AEST). Jetstar told AAP the passengers were not in any danger and that there was no risk of a similar incident on any other planes in the Jetstar fleet. “The aircraft can operate on one engine but as a precaution the pilots diverted it to Brisbane,” a spokesman said.

Late reply but I am going to say something anyway. You are so stupid for that comment. Learn about what you try to report on. Sure jetstar are not the best airline but... Just because the planes have systems, it doesn't mean that they know exactly what happened. It wasn't an emergency landing, if it was they would have had everyone braced because it was a fucking emergency. The engine failed. They have two and a plane can fly on one. It is just not worth the extra trouble for the pilots to manually fly it all the rest of the way. Sure it adds risk too, but it can be done. People like you need to fuck off because you are trying to talk about stuff you have no idea about.

Look into the Wignar effect.

There's no beating around the Bush dahboo. The engine malfunctioned. Glad the pilot discovered it before you hey got too far out.....Crisis averted.
