Very well put together
-
I know this is old technology but whoever comes up with this kid of stuff is brilliant.
-
Why not base differential on steering position? All bases would be covered.
-
what a smart guy to invent this..... thanks for sharing this video...
-
posi track only way to go.....one wheel peelers suck!!! lol just saying!!
-
He left out one important fact - friction modifier. When you make turns, there is a smaller speed difference but you don't want the wheels locking up on dry pavement. That additive allows a slip threshold so it can be driven on streets. It does not lock up on the smaller speed differences, but when the spin becomes excessive it does.

I have no automotive experience whatsoever but the animations make it pretty easy to understand. Limited slip means just that: slippage between plates is just enough to allow rotational velocity difference between the side gears. Thanks!

Hello, My nissan lsd, always fails when 1 wheel is on the air, is this normal in lsd systems? I feel it working when both wheels are on the growd. but if one wheel Stay in the air, it feels like open diff, does nothing.
-
So in other words, 2-wheel burnouts... Now I know why all the hoons want LSDs.
-
next time can we get 1 in English
-
What is wrong with keeping one long axle for both the wheels?
-
goood
-
excellent
-
Do you have any detailed drawings of the differential?
-
hi,guy. this video is very useful!
-
So THAT's why the differentials on monster trucks always explode and gush flaming oil.
-
what
-
What great engineering, is this common on most vehicles? Thanks a lot!
