A few months later, it's partnering with a Maryland-based defense company to develop a hoverbike for the US military. Working with Survice Engineering Co., the UK aeronautics company will set up shop in Maryland as part of "an ongoing research and development contract." The duo will also work with the US Army Research Laboratory on the project that aims to create "a new class of Tactical Reconnaissance Vehicle (TRV)." The goal is to replace some of the work a helicopter does with the hoverbikes, a vehicle that provides increased safety and costs significantly less. Funds from a Kickstarter campaign for those compact UAVs was used to build scale models capable of carrying a human -- one of which was on display at the Paris Air Show. But the company will now work with the US to develop them for military use. Survice is a US engineering firm that focuses on research and development for military technologies and which will now work together with Malloy on the hoverbikes. entrepreneurial aerospace company that develops, markets, and sells drones and Hoverbike technology to commercial and military markets”. The Hoverbike is the result of years worth of R&D. We combined the simplicity of a motorbike and the freedom of a helicopter to create the world’s first flying motorcycle. The Hoverbike flies like a quadcopter, and can be flown unmanned or manned, while being a safe – low level aerial workhorse with low on-going maintenance. Our goal is to produce an extremely reliable helicopter, designed with rugged simplicity at its heart and true pilot safety built into the design and operation of the aircraft Our first Hoverbike prototype is a bi-copter. The vehicle is controlled by deflecting thrust from its two propellers using control vanes – these are a bit like rudders or ailerons on a plane. After extensive testing involving the manned vehicle and scale models, we moved to a proven quadcopter design, because with current technology we could not design a bi-copter cheap enough for safe and competitive sales. The Aero-X hoverbike is a flight craft created by Aerofex, an aerospace engineering corporation based in Los Angeles, designed to carry up to two people. The vehicle is set for release in 2017. The Aero-X does not fly with the same energy efficiency as a helicopter, due to its rotor blades being shorter, but it is much smaller in size and safer near humans.[3] This craft does not produce the brownout of helicopters, as it is designed to be able to operate near people without blowing any significant amount of dust. hoverbike u.s. Given the fact that the reading of the pledge was interspersed with images of US troops in a brazen attempt to link patriotism with the kind of hegemonic conquests in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya that have bankrupted America, killed thousands of troops and disgraced the United States’ reputation globally, it’s made pretty clear in the clip that “God” has nothing to do with this brand of so-called patriotism. Eisenhower warned that the influence of the military-industrial complex was “economic, political, even spiritual” and that it was “felt in every city, every statehouse, every office of the federal government.” He exhorted Americans to break away from our reliance on military might as a guarantor of liberty and “use our power in the interests of world peace and human betterment.” Historians may well look back on this period, say, from 1960 on, as the “Selfish Era” – a time when individualism and materialism steadily took precedence over social responsibility. Personal debt grew slowly at first but steadily accelerated, even though it can be easily demonstrated that consumers collectively are better off saving to buy and that the only beneficiary of a heavy debt society is the financial industry

The hell is wrong with the sound pan?

When the people revolt and take over the government WERE the ones that's gonna be using them! 😂

I'm going on Amazon I want ONE SCREW DRIVING THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME
-
Im your test pilot. Right here. Let me know where and when.

tho it's not star wars! it's zeon scout from gundam!

The question is lift and payload capacity, if it could generate enough lift to carry two fully loaded or 3 minimal geared bodies I could see an application in search and rescue. Could get into smaller places, urban area maybe even rooftop to rooftop building hopping to find and retrieve a person. Problem in combat zone is it doesn't offer much in the way of protection, and isn't quiet or fast. Forget about an rpg small arms fire would tear an operator up.
But that's the nature of r&d, too bad most stuff in it never finds application.
I served as usn rescue swimmer for 5 years, and during a port visit to Dubai I came across a guy with an invention called the dolphin finder. It was maybe 2 feet long 40lbs, and was a personal transportation device in the water. Kind of like a diver propulsion vehicle (dpv) but instead of a screw rotor it used a used a propulsion similar to a jet ski, intaking the water up front and channeling it into a high pressure jet in the back. It had 2 handles almost like a motorcycle where you turned backwards for throttle. It was very fast, and all you had to do was lean forward to cause it to dive, lean to each side turn, or pull back to surface. I mean it was fast enough that with a tight grip and full throttle from 10 feet deep would surface with enough velocity to pull you 2 or 3 feet in the air.
I got him to let me test it, and even with a friend holding on to me I was able to pull us through the water at a high speed, maybe 20 knots ph not sure it didn't have a speedometer. Battery on his prototype would last about an hr. I thought it would make a great application in sar and also for eod/seals much faster than the current dpv's (maybe not faster than the sdv teams mini subs) but the inventor said he didn't have the money to setup the kind of operational and reliability testing that would be required to even have a meeting with the dod for a possible development contract. He was a foreign national too (German) so not sure if that hurt his chances as well. So instead he was in Dubai trying to sell it to wealthy yacht owners either as one off productions for recreation or find an investor to actually produce an inventory. That was back in 2004 and never heard about it since, but man it was cool -
I think this is great, except anti-gravity or electro-gravitic craft have been active in the black projects of the US Military since 1954 so the concept that the military truly is interested in this project is a joke. The military's interest is a farce, just like all other developments the public has been told about since 1954. The fact that taxpayer dollars are being wasted is another huge problem. Not only does the military have electro-gravitic craft but it also has true invisibility cloaking devices, so the Military needs none of this stuff, its a ploy to make us believe technology has not advanced when in fact it has. Ben Rich of Lockheed Martin said that this advanced technology is so buried in Black Projects, that it would take an act of god to get it out to benefit humanity. So do you see that the super so-called elite is really duping us here and the people must demand disclosure of this zero-point energy technology to free all of us from huge corporate control.

I Love this.
Very Nice. -
Meanwhile Colin Furze built one in his garage

I'm no engineer but I can design a better looking Hoover Bike than this piece of crap...even the British plumber that a better looking one and it works too.

APPLE NEED TO MAKE THINGS LIKE THIS.

Mark Fuckawits ??

Check out the YouTube channel from New Zeeland by a model airplane hobbyist. He talks about the theory and history about this tech. Past history of low elevation and speed of less than twenty MPH. tjl
