Machines | Two Fendt Tractors Ploughing Together
videos | at work | information | view | construction
Here is something a bit different. We decided to have a go a ploughing in tandem and it ended up making quite a cool video. While we don't normally plough like this, it certainly was an interesting sight to see. At the front we have Mike Hara driving our Fendt 939. He is pulling the Kverneland 10 Furrow Plough. Following him is Wayne Terry. He is on our Fendt 724 working the Lemken 7 Furrow Plough. Check out our YouTube channel for more aerial footage of farm machinery working. Don't forget to subscribe :-) Warter Priory is a world class farming operation set in the heart of East Yorkshire amidst 12,000 acres. At Warter, we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality and efficient farming. The main crops we focus on growing are wheat, barley and oilseed rape. We also grow peas in partnership with Birds Eye and some of our land is used for growing potatoes. All the footage was shot using a Canon 5D MKII carried by a DJI S1000. The music used in this video is A Gentle Touch by Dan Phillipson.

Whats the difference between plowing and cultivating? The plow just goes deeper or? Or the plow actually turns over the soil whereas a cultivator just breaks up the soil?

I like this one I will have my own , please God help me

I missed my calling in life :-)

why dont yous use a chisel plow yous would get over it faster
-
Nice movie, a greath dance
-
Dont you guys have rocks over there lol. I would love to plow that kind of ground
-
Excellent job!
-
Nice video! Bet that job didn't take long!
-
Magnificently. We drove in a similar way with two Volvo tractors and seeders in the 1970s in Sweden.
-
you guys did a real nice job considering how big the plow is
-
Why so much plowing in Europe, seems like that well worked soil would respond well with less tillage.

One of the great ag video's on the net. Makes me want to get the old plow "plough" out almost a lost art in my part of the US. The turn on the headland is the best!
-
Cool, like a ballet at head land... Good job.
-
did you film from a helicopter?
-
Thanks for posting I enjoyed your video. Cheers.
-
nice video!
-
AGCO POWER!! Great video! A big thumbs up from South Africa!
-
Why not make a wider headland? Then the tractors could do a simple keyhole turn instead of the laborious (and compacting) double-J turns that your (heavy) Fendts are doing! Just a thought - but then again,. I've got a Massey 5455 and a four furrow....
-
Brilliant video, 10 out of 10. How much does the front weight weigh on the larger Fendt

I love the dance they do at the turn-arounds.
