OMG!

Next time, do it with the wheel still on the tractor and save yourself a lot of extra work!

Bringing back some terrible MEMORIES. HMMVs, FMTVs (replacements for the old Deuce and 5-Tons), SEEs, Bucket Loaders, Low Boys and Graders. I hated when the Operators would bust tires. We used those same Tire Tools. Usually an all day JOB. The hardest of all was the Run Flat because the tool they made for it was ALWAYS broke. Even though most were 2 piece wheels, it was always a struggle.

great video but thats a 20 min job turned into 1/2 day. But I gotta give you props you didnt give up!
-
OMG...I've got one going down every couple days. 1957 rubber. shit...
-
What's the deal with the left rim being a few inches wider than the tire? I didn't notice that the first time I watched this.
-
From an ignorant person - why do you put liquid in your tyre/tire at all? Thanks.
-
Howdy from southern Idaho! was in your neck of the woods last month.. Ahhhhh October on the coast. Good crabbing and great weather!
-
You my friend are a well oiled machine!
-
You reminded me why we always called a mobile tire service, thanks for the lesson.
-
I was thinking it might have been easier to break it down while on the tractor.? I've never done it either, but I was thinking you needed the rim to be stationary to apply force on the tire to get it off. At least some of the actions might have been easier on the tractor. I don't know. LOL :)

I'm tired just watching that man! But I thoroughly enjoyed it. That's why I will definitely call someone to change out my rear tires. I'm way too banged up to make it through that type ordeal. Great Video!!

Jeff, i want to see more videos. Please stop standing under that loader bucket, and get some big jackstands for your trucks to stay up on. OK? -
excellent job! just not looking forward to following your same path, that i will most likely end up going down :/ for an old allis chalmers ca tractor 1950ish. with one its rear tires.
going to try and leave rim attached to tractor axle. and raise and lower rear of tractor. raise it up to spin tire some, lower tire back down on ground to hold tire as i work the pry bars to get the tire off the rim and back on to the rim.
though i might be tempted to use "zip ties" method of getting the old tire off the rim hhmmsss...how many knuckles are going to get skinned this time around @@
=====================
for folks asking, rear tires plus FLUID = ballast, helps a lot when used correctly for traction, "pulling stuff in fields" helps lower center of balance of tractor some "slightly lower chance of flipping tractor over on its side on hills".
Fun! Fun!! Fun!!!
