Using the Bobcat T300 compact track loader and Harley Power Box Rake to loosen and grade topsoil for a new lawn at a customers house. A few people have asked me to not speed up or "time lapse" video, so here you go. 11 min real time, unedited footage. Ask and you shall receive! Like what you see? What would be the typical per sq/ft cost for this type of work???
-
Instead of backing, why not just turn around and then do the ends last?

I have a Bobcat T190 with the 84" box blade and the Laser. I am having a lot of problems getting my (Clay) yard leveled. Do I float the box blade or let it be fixed? Is this thing supposed to take a minute to find the level, causing me to only go 1 foot per minute? If I overwork the clay when it is wet it just makes bogs that will stick the machine in no time. No amount of skill will get it out, needs another tractor to help. I have had this setup for over 1 year and I am about to get rid of it and call a pro...

That's good tool for that job :D

So what was your first step of the renovation? Did you spray herbicide to kill off vegetation, or skim the sod? Can the Harley rake perform well over established turf?
-
that looks better than using the pulverizer attachment!
-
i wish we had dirt like that round here. our dirt is like 80% rock 20% dirt.
-
A300 or current equivalent would be better for work traveling over laid sod or grass, but whenever you have exposed dirt tracks are always the best option. Right, @BobcatNinja?
-
No tracks are best. Plus the machines with tracks work better because they have more weight to hold the attachment down when in float.
-
This harley rake will work for that no problem
-
How would the A300 work compared to the T unit. The surface looks good with the T but wouldn't the A with turf tires work better?
-
How do you like those tracks compared to the stock ones?
-
What do you recommend for rocky soil? Softball sized stones? It's my yard, and I don't mind them being buried deep enough that they aren't going to be sticking out. I've been told a soil cultivator will get torn up and isn't the best thing to use anyway. Help! I need some grass soon!

neat and quick job tom..!!!!!!!! nice video
-
haha, thanks!

It's obvious the disabled Power Angle does not hurt production or quality of the finished surface. Good Show !!!

Thanks!

Well said. I agree
-
No not at all. I agree with what PietrovitoProduction said.
