Machines | Torana SS @ Bathurst Motor Festival 2013
videos | at work | information | view | construction
After 11 months with no engine, the Torana made a return to the track at Mount Panorama, Bathurst for the Bathurst Motor Festival. It ran without fault thanks to LW Parry Engineering, Hercules Engines, CRD, Miller Chassis, Tyrepower Campbelltown and Macri Motors Race Preparation and Restorations. As you'll see in the video it ran an unofficial time of 2min 31.6 secs from Forest Elbow to Forest Elbow. It did unfortunately break the 2min 40 secs minimum lap time at the official control line rendering the session with no official times on Natsoft. Just noticed the data is out of sync with the video towards the end. Doh.

nice idea with the lap time starting at start of straight lets you do 1 quick then 1 slow on your timer but not doing a quick lap as per tracks finish line. win/win sweet

Awesome driving mate. It kinda makes you appreciate how much they must or rang these things necks back in the day to get a lap time doesn't it!
