Let's break down five different solid ideas: 1. Tires. They're the most important thing about your car, period. 2. Brakes. It's good to stop. Especially if you're going to add power. 3. LSD. Not the drug. We want a slide happy car. 4. Final Drive. More ratio. More wheel torque. More smiles. 5. Exhaust. Shed those pounds. A heavy car is a dull car. Bro you're smart as fu k
-
what's the best tire size for 15" by 8" for performance in your opinion? and if you haven't already can you make a video on stretched tires
-
What about cold air intake?
-
you can easily ruin a car with tires, i know i have dot legal slicks they suck! nitto nt01
-
Yo! Can you do a video about the possibility of turning an FWD into a RWD or AWD
-
I wouldn't call this list "first mods" because a LSD isn't the first thing I'd spend money on. Yes It would be something I'd put in, but not one of the first. I'd stick to adding TCS to my car first and let that be my poor power version LSD. (and yes, I know a way to add TCS to my vehicle, I'm currently testing the system)
-
How about a Short Throw shifter if you're driving stick?
-
Great suggestions! Final drive might be more work and cost that most want to do, especially if modding their daily. I know people hate to spend money on things like nice brakes and tires, but they really do make the difference! It's not the smartest to just go straight to power mods, chasis suspension and brakes are super important and tires most of all!

I'm in Portland can you tell me where are some of the roads that you go to test drive cars?
-
Have you done a video about tire sidewall sizes? Seems like car companies started modding the cars with low profile tires out of the factories
-
hey, just a small request, not related to this video, but is it possible for you to make a list of books recommended for everything related to automotive engineering?? books like " Physics for Gearheads" which you recommended in the topic of gears changing, it was a very good one and easy to study. thanks in advance

I think your missing a very simple basic mod: changing intake filter media to a washable filter aide in airflow into the engine, and also decreases cost of ownership over the life of the vehicle.
-
5-10kg less through the exhaust will not affect a car that weighs 1600 kg
-
I love that none of these touched the engine. So many people think it's all about power when really it's about how you can use that power.
-
also a short throw shifter on a manual trans car would be nice
-
What about window tint? How much HP would that add? 🤔
-
has 1 mil + subs, doesn't have a gtr. good on you lad
-
Suba-f-u
-
But what if you have ABS? Then your tires won't lock and then it's only the brakes that matters, right?
-
Not sure if I agree with the LSD it is a good mod however it's the most expensive out of the five I would say maybe an intake for better throttle response (if u put in a decent location) this is cheaper and will make your car feel faster than it is. It's also rather cheap as well
