Pink works on a building site. The Pink Panther, sauntering casually along, sees a "Construction Workers Wanted" sign on the fence of a building under construction and hops over the fence unannounced and goes to work. He soon gets involved in every job in the building and succeeds in fouling up all of the work done by the other men who never see this new "guy" and never know why all the mysterious catastrophes are taking place. The blase Panther, after much hammering, banging, and dropping of equipment, succeeds in causing the building to collapse. The enraged workers spot the "Pink Menace" and stampede him out of town in a comical fadeout.
