State and National awards were taken out by two TAFE Queensland Gold Coast Automotive students across separate competitions. Kurt Trask won the Gold medal at the 2014 Australian World Skills Competition in Perth for the Automotive category. Meanwhile Peter Newbold was crowned the State’s Apprentice of the Year at the Queensland Training Awards.
