GAHANNA (Adam Aaro) -- A dump truck driver is cited after he gets the bed of his vehicle wedged underneath a railroad underpass. GAHANNA (Adam Aaro/Sean Rowe) -- Gahanna police say the dump truck driver was traveling down Morrison Road around five o'cock Tuesday evening after finishing at a job site. Then, along the way, the bed of the truck was raised up and got caught underneath the railroad underpass under the railroad overpass on Morrison Road, near Claycraft Road. The bed of the truck then detached, becoming wedged between the bridge above the road below. It took two-and-half hours to get the truck bed loose and towed away. The railroad company is inspecting the bridge for any damage. No one was hurt and the truck was not carrying any materials when it crashed. The driver was cited and released.
