So After the Dozer got stuck, they had to rent a trackhoe to do some work and then got it stuck... After we helped em get the trackhoe out, we had to get the dozer out

Are these the same guys who got the excavator stuck? Good lord, stop renting machines and go flip burgers. Harder to mess that up.
-
this proves the rumor that bull dozers don't float
-
I'm pretty confident you needed a swamp dozer.. bugger. You probably own that one now.. lol
-
I guess if there were a lot of mosquitoes, that would suck

a good power washing. all good :)

CATs have nine lives...

I've been there myself. all you needed to do was take a chain and run over to the fire tree in front of the blade and use your left and right angle on the blade it would have pulled it right out.

One of the better examples of the difference between: being able to run a piece of machinery, and operating a piece of iron.
-
Yeah, I can get it in there, gettin out, idunno

There is one machine that could clear out the mud easy. When Disney started clearing out the swamp in Orlando, Florida they used draglines as the primary means of moving muck and Meier until they dug down to solid ground having said that and been stuck numerous times stuff happens

question: do these and other heavy equipment generally need or require some repairs, as it were, after having been submerged in mud for some time? Or is simply no additional attention necessary?
-
mud usually wins

I've had tractors sink in ground they previously drove over just fine. It happens. Anyone using machines off the beaten track has had one stuck, or been lucky.

"Bubba"... Ya, the a that's a shocker.NOT...

that's crazy

I swear some people just have no business running heavy equipment ugh

There's a wonderful piece of machinery available in Britain called a winch. Would have pulled the dozer straight out from a safe standpoint without risking ay further machinery. Perhaps someone should be spreading the word in hi-tech America.

That's got to be one of the stupidest things Iv ever seen anyone do. Most specially right after you just sunk the trac hoe right there. I bet if you owned that equipment you wouldn have done that. #wanabeopperators
