This video shows you our baling operation. We are baling wheat with three balers, all operated by J.W. Evison & Sons baling contractors. The balers are being pulled by two John Deere tractors and one Fendt tractor. The chaser and straw turners you see in the clips are operated by ourselves. We bale most of our straw to be used on our own farm and on other local farms. We only bale Big Heston bales. Warter Priory is a world class farming operation set in the heart of East Yorkshire amidst 12,000 acres. At Warter, we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality and efficient farming. The main crops we focus on growing are wheat, barley and oilseed rape. We also grow peas in partnership with Birds Eye and some of our land is used for growing potatoes.
