Hi would like a stone dressing machines possibly coupled through PTO tractor to dress smoothly predefined quarry stones
-
looks like sandstone or limestone. those guys move those blocks all day every day, that's why it looks so effortless. the first guy tips the block, stands it up, and spins it in place. the 2nd guy tips the block and places it on the conveyer belt. and the 3rd guy swings the block from waste high to its stacked position. those stones aren't that light, you're all just imagining how light those stones would have to be for your pussy asses to be lifting them so easily. the guy who runs the saw at the stone shop where i work handles granite countertops the way i handle cardboard. when you move a couple hundred stones each day, you make it look easy.

This is what Nelson Mandela and apartheid fighters had to endure manually for 26 years..The Art of Stone Cutting is when you do it manually...why don't you all do it manually for years..and years to come...maybe then you won't pollute the earth so rapidly because of WHAT YOU WANT! Wow, that must be styrofoam rock. Cuts like softwood and is, judging by the ease the workers lift the blocks, very light. Is it suitable as a structural element in walls or buildings, or, only used as a facing stone. I'd love to have 100 tons or so of this stuff to build dry stack walls around my house. I could cut it into irregular regular form to make an attractive result. I live in Newfoundland and we have massive stone deposits, but, it is very expensive to purchase here. Go figure. Too sad.
-
that stone appears to be light weight. What type of rock is it?
-
It's been a year and I still like this video.
-
It always depends on the quality of the stone I guess and which instruments you need to get the stone out of the quarry....
-
Stones still being used in intaly. Look for the video above
-
I wish you would post a video of this stone being used in construction....
-
Yeah it looks sedimentary for sure, not sure what exactly it is. Judging by how easily they were handling those blocks they can't have weighed more then 50 Ibs.
-
Is this lime stone?
-
You would probably have to build it yourself :)
-
They don't spend much effort when they re-align the rails Not sure why a bandwas isn't used to cut this soft stuff, since they would loose a lot less stone. This is 19th cent. tech lol

That is totally rad, man!
