Hi Lindsay thank you for all the videos you have taken the time to upload over the years. I was really hoping that you might be able to shed more light on your letterpress machine and related craft items please. I noticed that you mentioned it in a video about die storage, I was really hoping to find out more please. Wishing you a Merry Christmas, thank you 💐c

I am thinking about getting a Silhouette cameo because it can cut stencils as well, but I need to read some more about it. Do you have any advice on it?

I have an old Cricut that I got for half price. I find it very helpful as my hands shake sometimes so my cutting is not reliable. I like it better than having to use dies.

Hi Lindsay, Do think that without a die cutting machine , it lessens the nice affects you can make on cards? I just do not think it will fit my budget when it means buying die cuts as well.
-
so the only way to use dies is with a machine right?
-
thanks I was trying to make a decision on die cut machine since my silhouette git flooded. this was most helpful.

I've had my Big Kick machine almost 2 yrs now. Did 17 years card making without it but it was a gift. Then I had to invest in dies. Bought basic nesting shapes first year. Now I purchase discontinued dies from Tuesday Morning had huge savings. Some at Michaels with coupons. Some at Scrapbooking Made Simple.com during their huge Sizzix or other sales but takes 5-6 mo to get shipment. Get some from Papercraft Essentials UK magazine at JoAnn's. but, I'm like u--how much does it cost and how often will I use it. I bought my dtr-in-law a Sizzix Ninja for xmas at great price for xmas so will swap dies with her couple times a year (8hr drive apart) so will get more for the buck now. I still won't pay full price for ANY die. I would never buy a machine that could only emboss nor that original old red Sizzix machine. The Ninja just needs adapter to cut wafer dies so was only additional $10. Happy crafting one and all!!

Can I cut paper and then cut fabric for quilling or will the paper dull the blades like my rotary blades ?

Deborah Anne I find that turning the handle on the big shot can tire out my hand but otherwise it is fairly easy to use. but I only have the big shot if your hands getting tired easily is an issue you may want to find a different diecut machine do your research and figure out what will work best for you . And if you do use the big shot try to diecut a whole bunch of pieces at once so that you have maybe a three months supply...that is what I do.

Hi Lindsay, I see that you have the cricut expression. Would you please do a video on what all you can do with it. I have just bought one from a lady but there wasn't any paperwork with it. Thanks

What about using dies without a machine? Is it possible to apply pressure and cut dies like that, with your own hands or by using a roller on top???

Okay, I was on my way to Michael's to get a Cricut. Now that I know they are proprietary, forget it because my pocketbook cannot afford it.

What about dies vs punches. Punches seem much easier to use, but take up a lot of space. You can also get punches that coordinate with strap sets and it seems easier, if giver the option, to punch something 50 times over hauling out a dicut machine and running it through over and over again. Thoughts on this?
