Lol they used the trunk as a spoiler
-
no one cares about your opinions
-
100% right your explanation. However the reason for the wing is to keep more speed in corners. By sacrificing a little of top end speed and be faster around corners, the car goes faster overall around the track. My 2 cent!

Some of the stuff in this video is pretty suspect. It's not a blanket statement that a car with a spoiler is faster than a car without one. It's possible, if the downforce perfectly balanced a particular cars inclination to spin the wheels that it would be faster. More often than not though, a car without a spoiler is actually faster in a straight line. And then it doesn't mention the drivetrain either. Putting a spoiler on a FWD car for instance, like a lot of ricer jackasses do, not only slows the car down with drag but it lifts the drive wheels up and will actually cause wheelspin.

"Don't try it at home" ...with the formula 1 car in the garage??
-
This is on level of popular science. Sorry.
-
Adding a spoiler will NOT help acceleration.
-
Man go back to school
-
15 seconds in to the video there is a MASSIVE mistake, in a straight line, the car without the wing will win.
-
how im gonna find a tunnel and a formula 1 AT HOME? I rarely find meat ...
-
for reducing drag, try using vortex generators instead.
-
This video is stupid, you learn nothing by watching it.
-
"don't try that at home" how can we drive f1 car inside our home?
-
Can't watch a video like that.
The beginning is wrong. In a straight line the car without spoiler would win. Add corners, than the "spoiled" car would win. -
This video is just a validation for ricers
-
Isn't that the wrong lift theory your'e using?
-
I want to go back to school and get a degree in engineering. Learn about mechanical engineering and fluid dynamics.
-
7:34 like normal people at home have F1 cars or something lol
-
... I have issues with your stuff
-
real nice video !
