programming is about logic not coding, if someone tell you otherwise is because they want to sell you something. tweet this.

I do enjoy these videos as it provides prospective that is hard to get any other way. However, I think that in career counseling and career advice is typically ill informed, and finding the perfect career is multifaceted. With that said, I wanted to share a website with you that I found extremely useful in offering new ways to think about finding a career. Of course, take everything with grain of salt; I do think the ideas on the site are based in presuppositions about the human condition, but the advice is valuable nonetheless. Just read the articles, and take with you what you find valuable and useful. The website is https://80000hours.org/
They also have some YouTube videos up, and a TedTalk, which you may enjoy. -
I have been trying to figure out exactly what I should do I have no software experience some kind of idea but instead of going into mechanical should I go into software and get my B.S and then work on getting my aerospace engineering or should I do the opposite, I really would love some input in my situation because I am stuck in deciding on what to. Thank you.

Awesome video. Very informative.
-
wouldnt it just make sense to get a major in mechanical but a minor in software engineering? like these 2 seem to go hand in hand.
