On the 7th of October 2015 Kyogle HQ members were attending an event when we were called to a grass fire a short distance from Kyogle. We were able to respond very quickly with two vehicles and extinguished the fire while it was still small. At the time the area was experiencing strong gusty winds which you can hear in the video. We cover a very large area including a large section of the Summerland Way and the town of Kyogle assisting a FRNSW unit. We also frequently respond out of area to help other brigades.
