1. The needle did break recorded time at 1:24 on video..but I don't think I'll be sewing 8 layers of denim. 2-3 most...I do prefer a purrrrr....and be heavy duty...still undecided

4. This machine is said to sew through layers and layers of denim and +. I got into a situation that I was sewing the edge of a leather belt, and while doing that my tension on the top gave up totally. no number will work. The people I have asked try to make it like I need to bring it in for repair. I don't want to have to pay for repairs if its not necessary.  This has nothing to do with the bobbin. I need to know how to remove the stitch nobs to get to the tension plate. Do you think you can help

6. I hope you're not implying a broken needle is a "machine" issue? Needles break all the time, and yeah she was going to fast and too short stitch length for that many layers.
7. It broke the needle because she was going to fast with 8 layers. You must put the length to 4
8. Anybody else notice that it broke a needle at the 1:24 mark?

10. I have a Janome 7360. BEST machine I have used to date. Extremely quiet and smooth as butter. I would never buy a Singer today, and I work in a fabric store that carries them!
11. I bought this machine 2 months ago and I have no problem with it. For some of these people with negative comments about the noise it makes, there is no quiet sewing machine, they all make noise
12. I bought this machine when it first aired in 2010. I LOVE it!!! It does a great whether I'm sewing tricot for intimates or sewing belt loops onto jeans (heavy denim). I even did the test like in the demonstration using a LEATHER NEEDLE and it worked. I was able to get the lead from a local welder. It is a little loud, but worth it. I love the acrylic table that came with it. It is great when I'm quilting or sewing large, bulky items. THANK YOU to Singer for another wonderful machine. I added this machine because of it being Commercial HD. I have 4 other Singer machines and I've not been disappointed. They all sew beautifully. For the money, this is a great machine and I would buy it no matter the cost.....
13. I would buy a Brother any day over a Singer.  Singer used to be the machine to go to, but not anymore.  Brother and Janome are excellent sewing machines.  I love mine.

    real commercial grade machines cost thousands of dollars
    and weigh 4 times as much
    
    if you want a heavy duty home machine
    buy a old Singer 99k or 201 
17. Don't buy this. It's a piece of crap. Not heavy duty at all and you have to manually do the button holes on this machine. Other cheaper machine do it for you, no, with this Heavy Duty you have to figgle the whole shit out yourself. Don't buy this!
18. Rip off. I got mine on amazon for 170-something.
19. Most things theses day are all made in the same factory in China  and slap a different name on them all the same and all the same crap quality.the Chinese

20. I purchased this from HSN and it not "Heavy Duty".. What a joke ! I removed it from the box tried it and put it back in the box and returned it. It was slow, noisy, awkward to use and hardly "heavy duty". It seemed so cheap.. Listen to the sound in the demonstration.. And not 23 "built in stitches".. If we stop purchasing junk like this, perhaps manufacturers will stop making junk. Buy an older metal machine that will last and you can maintain on your own...
