Machines | Silage '13 - Lifting the Stuff - John Deere Fest!
videos | at work | information | view | construction
Sorry for the absence - away for a few days and was promised internet, but it didn't happen. The one upload was made in the local Tourist Office and took 2 hours of my precious holiday time! Back to business - while I was away very little happened in Carmarthenshire (or anywhere else as far as I could see). Richard Lewis made a few acres of level ground but rain stopped play most of the week. We were in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria, and had mostly good weather, but with a freezing cold wind and some hail showers! In May!!! Now here we have Richard Lewis, the only contractor that i know of to have done any clamp silage this year, lifting his second customer of the season's grass. John Deere 7450 with 6930 tractors. The new 6140R is also seen with the gigantic Claas LINER 4000 rake. It is evening time and we get some lovely light from the dying sun. Filmed in Carmarthenshire, Wales, UK.
