No clutch action?

Good driving thanks for sharing...Have interview tomorrow and not sure how many RPM's I should shift at? I'm going to wing it and use my ears too.

I drive transfer truck and im having a hard time starting out when i come to a complete stop loaded on an incline. I seem to stall out every time i get my foot off the break and let the clutch out..Any advice?
-
Iv been driving a little over a year and iv been driving all my dads trucks and there all 10 speeds and I drive them like nothing lol but my bud asked me to bring him one of he's trucks to the shop and it was a 8 speed and I'm telling you now That was hard lol idk wtf I was doing wrong but it did not want to shift for shit It was just rebuilt. Maybe that was the main problem

I am trying to drive an 8 speed truck and i want to know of any body can give me any tips about it? Do you have to use the clutch when shifting?
-
So you aren't double clutching nor using the clutch? Just floating gears?
-
Oh okay.
-
what do you want to know? watch the video it is all pretty much there. the only other thing there really is is getting the rpm's right before you shift. about 400 less before shifting into the next higher gear or 400 more before shifting in to a lower gear.
-
Okay so you know how to shift an 8 speed but you didn't show us anything.
-
Pretty much. the idea is to get the RPM's to the right speed, usually about 400 below your last gear or 400 higher than your last gear if you are downshifting and then slide the shifter into the next gear.
-
So you're just holding the shifter against the next gear and it catches when the rpm's match?
