Scrap truck tips over and breaks apart

Oh well, it can just join all of the scrap metal that's already there! Couldn't have picked a better place really!
-
I agree with the tailgate theory , I've almost seen this before without the tip over cause someone stopped driver!
-
Looks like a Hribar truck
-
Pull the pin and shover' on in!

@oldnaziwino The trailer didn't have a tail gate, instead it has a "barn door" that swings to the side of the trailer and is secured by the driver there so it don't get in the way of dumping. You get a 96"+ inch's of barn door hanging off the back of the trailer when it is dumping, the barn door will hit the ground and will "lift" that side of the trailer up off the ground. After it tipped over, you can see the barn door swing shut when it hits the ground. THAT is where the problem is at.
-
@oldnaziwino wow you are a retard arent you?
-
It tipped over cause he moved the trailer forward with all the weight still in top on shitty ground, tailgate had nothing to do with it.
-
@chuckrl yup, those trailers are pretty unstable empty....and since 1/2 or so of the load is in the worst spot in the trailer still, in the front and up high, it's REALLY unstable. Hell, I have seen one go over on a windy day..the trailer and 1/2 of the truck was on it's side, but the truck fame twisted and the front axle of the truck was still flat on the ground with both tires on the ground. Even in my tandem, If I ain't level, I don't raise the bed!!!!
-
that's how you get fired.
-
The reason it tipped was that he forgot to pin the tailgate all the way back and it caught on the ground when the trailer was dumping.
-
that was hilarious, laughed my ass off . the driver went a bit out of order for a while....lol
-
that must suck
-
He was too far back anyways. The weight was all off the wheels and all on the back of the trailer,if he had pulled it a bit more forward and locked off back door,it would'nt have happened like that.Surprised he did'nt feel it backing it slightly onto pile.
-
That's Why you always latch A barn door on a Dumpbed or Dump trailer folks NEVER LEAVE THE BARN DOOR WHERE IT WILL SWING FREELY ;)
-
see the oil as the ram snaps
-
i gus he can scrap the trailer as well

TOPGEAR TRUCKER

I've have witnessed the same thing happen 3 times before, 2 were with dump trailers and 1 tri-axle dump truck.
-
I suppose the two of you are insurance workers. Any driver would (or at least should) see the tailgate hitting the ground, forcing the trailer to the side.
-
Unless, of course, the door bends or breaks... - And it's usually easier and faster to build a new door if we're talking rolloff containers.
