The camp was attended by head of the Army's engineering branch, General-Lieutenant Stavitsky. Engineers showed off their reconnaissance skills with drones painting targets for enhanced accuracy on various objects, including armoured units. What exacly you morons do not understand here? Its hand launched drone made to fit into backpack of single soldier, wings and propeler blades are removable. Its MADE to be light and FAIRLY cheap so they can be issued on batallion lvl. Stupid assholes comparing this to something from Radio Shack or Walmart should first learn something about drones. Shit that you buy in Radio Shack costs couple hundred USD and will break on first rough landing, this thing is made to land on rocks and to be repaired in half an hour by polymer welding if needed, your toy can be just thrown away. Every army out there has this type of drones ZALA 421, RQ-11 Raven, Switchblade, Bayraktar Mini etc etc, there are dozens of models. Point of this type of drones is to be small, cheap, light, compact and easy to use.
