-
Streets of Rage
-
well you know ,i talk about facts ,musicians ,mags ,underground press, web 'zines that hail acts like Riot ,Saxon etc as Heavy Metal (and they are) and you just call me a troll. Furthermore you talk about non-creativity in those acts? Well i get the poiont here. My kinda metal comes from the street ,your's comes from farytails 'n' shit. Back home we have a sayin': ain't no use in fightin' a dickhead 'cause he's so stupid ,he's invinsible. So fuck off and drop dead internet pussy ass warrior.
-
well we got some bad ass people over here too who think that Gammay Ray and the Keepers are actually "happy" metal and i agree with them .You know ,people with leather jackets 'n' Tank patches. And guess what ,no ,i ain't talkin' about Metal Hammer and stuff (although my country's M.H. is Metal) but i refer to the underground press. And btw i visited your channel and i don't see any real metal at all. Hammerfall? c'mon ,spare me the joke....
-
So metal mags are retards ,"best of" metal lists that have stuff like Wheels of steel ,Fire Down Under etc are retarded ,metal bands (Exodus ,Overkill ,Venom) that refer to those stuff ,that you call rock, as metal are retarded BUT YOU are the metal elitist that listens to happpy flower power metal like Gammay Ray....Even Kai Hansen hails this stuff as pure metal.Man you got it all wrong....you need to talk to someone.
-
trying to prove that stuff like this isn't Heavy Metal is like tryin' to tell me that stuff like the whole nwobhm (you know what this is ,right?) is rock music (although Riot ain't british). I also ask you to replay of some sort of a polite way. Tradition Heavy metal stuff like Wheels Of steel ,Born in america and Wild Cat ,not Gammay Ray and other power metal stuff. Btw next time you'll answer to me try not to sound like a complete and total asshole....
-
thiw is actually the excact definition of Heavy Metal....

@JJames666male Unless you mean this particular song, which may have been released in some EP or demo in '83, you are wrong. This was released in '84, the same year as Ride The Lightning.
-
@veliste this came out the same year as kill'em all and shout at the devil. the main part sounds a bit like Deep purple's stormbringer
-
@veliste maybe... I've an old kerrang (1985) where 'Walls of Jericho' by Helloween is reviewed... with Lars Ulrich as guest... at the end it says: By this point, Lars had collapsed on the floor in a messy heap, demanding something slower. "Can we hear a Riot album now, he one with the song 'Outlaw' on it?" he pleaded. so... Lars has good taste... at least, he used to (-;
-
@quietriotfan1976 Riot didn't release an album until 77... and were formed in 75
-
@veliste For the record, Crue and Metallica were influenced in some respects by Riot. Riot has been around and recording albums since 1974.
-
I dug Riot!!!!! This song Rocks!!!!!

Classic Riot...Pure Metal
