Growing up I tried to use scopes, but they would ultimatly fail and lose there zero in the field. I was taught to use iron sights. Mainly using a peep sight. It is good to know how to use a scope, but never depend on it. Iron sights and proper shooting technique will always prove best for a marksman.

If you are complaining about these kind of sights it's because you are no good with them. That's all, they were designed to be simple and affective. I've seen hundreds of marines hit targets at 300 meters no problem.....so yeah. Keep practicing.
