Very helpful thank you for showing this. Also you have a great personality.

Too much ice lol

If you didn't want to use it exclusively as a low fogger would it still work as a regular fog machine?
-
this one is really neat, but too costly for one day a year. any suggestions?
-
Okay - nice review. I was wondering - do you sell a WIRELESS remote that works with this unit?
-
hey mike could i have your phone number so i can talk to you

This machine is excellent. Used it in a video outdoors [mostly at night ]with a follow spot light ! Check out its power sample, in the video 'In the light of a Moonbeam' by revelation 77.

Everyone seems to ask about the ice. Mike mentioned there was a lot left. I'm assuming it does not use the ice as part of the fog rather the ice cools the moist air/fog mixture. The cooler air mixture naturally sinks while the moisture helps retain its lower temperature. Or, you can use any fog machine if you pass the fog through ice or a radiator with ice in it. If you have a fog machine you might get creative. There could be something in the low fog juice? In where; the fog itself is heavier. If this is true and the low juice helps then its attributes would be observed with a normal machine placed on the ground.

A little tip: let it warm up first, & then add ice.. Less melting.
Great review Mike. Thanks. -
Do they make a 1000 watts version? because that 400 watts is to short 30sec max

i know i just found the best channel out there because of the things in the backround me make me fungasm
-
I would put this up high so the fog falls onto the dance hall.

Hello i´m from Costa Rica, best review of one of this devices that i see in a long time. Really helpful.

This has to be the worst thing I ever bought. Mine leaked right from the first time I used it. I had to caulk the whole inside. The top lid came crooked. And seriously the fog doesn't stay low for more than 20 seconds, then its everywhere. Not enough time to have your clients dance in the clouds. I was thoroughly embarrassed.

Hi mike what is the price? I would love to order one around Halloween.thanks.

I just tested one of these last night and I was blown away by the quality of its design and construction. If you don't have access to dry ice, I found that reusable gel packs (for sports injuries, keeping food cool in coolers, etc.) are almost as good as dry ice. Typically, they maintain 0°F or less (in your freezer) and are therefore colder than wet ice, and they don't need a drain because they don't melt. One other note... unlike you, I had no problem removing and replacing the drain tube {:-) I've worked in special effects for 30+ years and this is the best unit that I've ever seen... especially for the price.

I would love to get one of those but I dont know how much they are could you tell me please.

Fun video. That was Kool! It's 400W so it takes long to cycle. I have a video of a little Walmart Gemmy that uses a similar design on a much smaller scale that did that good. But a really small ice chamber. It did prove to me that fog chilling could work. I use the DIY trash can. I'm going to try a Chauvet 670W Fogger and Froggy's Fog juice outdoors this year.
