I put together this short video to explain one of the technologies we use to reverse engineer vintage parts. This is the first step when redesigning the parts, so that we understand the dimensions and mounting surfaces for the various trim parts we redesign.

amazing they can now do this with a simple add on to your tablet.

just buy an artec eva 3d scanner and scan the parts. you can make mods in 3d software of your choice. way cheaper than outsourcing
