Construction crews continue to remove the glazed brick facade from the former KUB Building on Gay Street in downtown Knoxville. The building, originally constructed in the late 1800s, has undergone several makeovers over the years, including a version with glass brick in the '50s and this mod facade in 1963. New building owners The Tombras Group have plans for a sleek, contemporary style. Construction is expected to be complete by late summer 2017.
