Here we have one of the qualifying battles for the UK Fighting Robot Association Featherweight Championship 2014 hosted by Robo Challenge at The Gadget Show Live event held at the Birmingham NEC from April 10th to April 13th 2014. In this battle we see: From Blackpool 'Wedgie', From team Scruff 'Night Fury', From Lisbon in Portugal 'Galactus'. (Let me know the correct names and correct spelling of the Teams and I will update this entry) Congratulations to both Wedgie and Galactus. I recorded this video on Friday 11th April 2014. I have posted each Battle I watched as a separate video. Combat Robots UK Championships at the Gadget Show Live 2014, NEC Birmingham. A feature each year is the Robo Challenge 'robot wars' arena. This is one of the best UK venues and people get a chance to watch the games as well as see and meet the designers, engineers and drivers. Fighting Robots UK Championships: Robo Challenge will also be hosting the full combat UK championships over 4 days. From Thursday 10th to Friday the 11th will be the qualifying rounds where each robot will get 4 battles to score as many points as possible. Only the toughest robots will proceed as the top machines go through to the knockout stages on Saturday 12th. On the final day of the event the top 10 bots will battle it out to see who will be crowned 2014 Robo Challenge Champions!
