Nice compilation. Many were experimental, but most were in actual use.

great video 👍👍👍

Convair sure like to make strange planes....
-
The F-82, the Me-323 and the B-36 were not rare. The F-82 was in squadron service from 1945 to the early 1950s, the Me-323 saw extensive service on the Eastern Front and the B-36 served in SAC (USAF) for at least a decade.

Half of these vehicles are fake
-
3:38 ...said to be one of the loudest planes ever...!
5:30 ...there was an experimental nuclear-powered version of the B-36...! Was not succesful, only 1 build (fortunately!)
7:50 ...if the Dornier 335 went into series-production, it would have been one of the best piston-fighters ever... (but it didn't)
8:00 ...as for the B-36 there were also plans for a nuclear-powered version of the T95/T28 tank-destroyer (well, these were the days...!)
8:20 ...the C-99, another B-36-spin-off (rumors, that Pan-Am wanted to buy some...) Only 2 prototypes built -
Some of those are freaking weird and some are certainly unique. That C-99 was the only one ever built and it a cargo fuselage on a B-36 wing and engines. Those Russian Ground Effect vehicles are pretty cool. They could lift stupidly heavy loads and go really fast for a ship, really not that slow for an airplane but not much use over varied terrain.
I had to mute the music. That was awful. -
lol when i saw that Plane its like a Tu-4
-
Winston Churchill?? 3:54

The B-36 really was big. You should go to the museum at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio. They have a B-29 parked under one wing of the plane! And the B-29 was huge
