Well, dont stand next to dump trucks - thats something that I take away from this lol
-
Nice junk ass tires. truck shouldn't be on the road
-
next time try a side dump or 1/2 frame short steel tub.
-
At what point do you switch to a trailer dump. More drop axles than drive axles
-
The right rear tire had no treads on it
-
Ouch
-
Those tires ain't bald, they've been scalped!
-
wow

Shit id haul 21.5 back roads all day in Nc..18.5 on highway druving quad ...if it pays by ton ill go 21.5 all day
-
Yeah in nc you are limited to 6.5 tons per axle highway or 9 tons per axles non highway. So usually tandem hauls 15 tri 16.5 quad 18 and a quint 19.5 you can up it 3 tons going non highway roads
-
you can only haul 21 tons with that? The tri axle I drive in MA I can haul 24 ton.
-
You have to take into account the added weight of the extra steel for the trailer. The higher gvwr the length between axles and the weight distribution . On a tractor trailer combo you can't count the steer axle for as much cause the weigh is distributed over the trailer and not the truck.till you push the trailer length over 28ft you might as well be driving a triaxle. My quads only have a 19.5 ft bed and can haul more. But now with a truck almost 50 long you lose maneuverability.
-
I'm not saying I don't believe you, but as usual with the gov't, that makes absolutely no sense. Unless it's somehow related to the distance between the axles which would correlate with how the load is dispersed.
-
you cant haul as much with a tractor trailer due tot he dot rules. had a 26 ft dump trailer and could only haul 16.5tons. had 2 more axles than a tandem but only increased the load capacity by 1.5 tons this truck can legally haul 21 tons with this wheel base.
-
Ain't nothing a little duct tape can't fix and also may just want to make that bed into a roll off.
-
Yeah what is the point of this truck? Seems to me much too long. I hab the same problem with with a flipped over 2 axle dumptruck + trailer. But thankfully I had not much damage on it.
-
When you get to the point of a quint axle, I've never understood why people run a truck with that long a wheelbase. Seems you'd be better off whith a short tractor trailer.
-
well, at least the truck is largely empty: Þ
-
i was bout to say, they are maypops.... may pop at anytime
-
now he can get a good look at his tires lol
