...and this video is for who?

So you do not need to double clutch?
-
I drove a 6 speed tractor trailer today and stalled the engine in the middle of an intersection because I shifted to third when my rpms were too low. My instructor wanted to kill me haha oh well next time I'll be better
-
what about letting go of the gas?
-
Lol no brain drivers thinks Racing is professional driving, lol but damn im used to this transmission double clutching but this 5&6speed eaton fuller transmission is like a Car shifting
-
Is shifting this transmission similar to shifting a manual transmission car?
-
Just put a 8ll in it.
-
I don't see anything professional here he's not talking about racing and down-shifting breaking for turns... boring....

For my Jeep JK I have the clutch pushed all the way in and the gear selector lightly pressed in the 1st gear position but not engaged. When the vehicle has slowed to a speed low enough it will automatically slide into 1st gear position easily and then lightly let the clutch pedal out..

I drive daily with a 6 speed Eaton and it seems to me you didn't explain downshifting well enough. One must double clutch and match engine/trans speed for a proper downshift correct? If you don't rev match you are slipping the clutch if you are attempting to use the engine as a means for slowing the truck down.
