thanks, the guy at the tire shop said the same thing last time he saw it, checked with torque wrench they are tight.. must be old stains :) time to get a tin of paint out...

oha hahahha they are the bleed resistors and SCRs for the cap bank LOL. nah the PTO wasnt making any noises or anything, just noticed it was loose when i was going to replace the pump!

That oil did not look good Alex!:( it looks a arse of a job mate, did it make a racket when failing?? Or was it starting to whine!!? Hope ya get it sorted bud! ;) Like the way we see igbt bricks and resistors in the background on ya bench lol nice mix in the video, electronics and mechanical engineering all in one video. hahaha Thumbs up*

that gear is a bit sad, pitty it can't be reversed to the non worn side(unless i didn't look at it properly)

Can you flip that chewed up gear around so it meshes a bit better?

Alex check out the lug nuts on the front wheel some times when you see rust around them it means they are lose

Oooow that fluid did look pukie didnt it, yuck yuck :-( I know you can fix it alex, and after a gearbox washout/refill i bet it will work smashing again :-) Shame the teeth are knocked about, not yours, the cog ha ha :-) Yep the record button is a remote for aircraft engines :-) Smashing vid :-)

powauto PTO unit.. powauto Pump david brown hydraulics.. expensive, but its what is required for big crane.. 300psi/80LPM

pump is being replaced with a new one. i will autopsy the old pump

Nice video, you will have this sorted in no time. How is the shaft on the hydraulic pump? That is normally why they leak oil, shaft wears where the seal is rubbing on it.
