Mr. Trump, this is what we call a news conference. It is a forum for the President of the United States to give answers candidly and extemporaneously. Perhaps soon you will have the courage to get in front of reporters and answer questions on live TV.
-
I think his speech was good
-
Bear in mind that Operation Zapata was in the planning.
-
And to think I was a fetus at the time.
-
I like how he doesn't hesitate to answer before the question is finished. The way he does it comes off as assertive, but not rude.
-
A true real President of United States.

As American's we should expect our current leaders to live up to this and or exceed this standard. This is a President who has a grasp of all issues, an opinion and a solution for the country as he deems necessary. Listening to his statements one understands he know the topics too which he addresses and is open for suggestions as to the betterment of a nation.
Sadly this is not the case today, our current president reads off teleprompters and answers questions ( very rarely ) with pre-written responses. Going forward we as a country should demand a standard such as this example, nothing less is acceptable. -
Obama:Congress should get stuff done.
JFK:Fact of the matter is that the Congress is excpected by both this administration and the american people to seize the problems we currently have and we are likely to have in the future and produce bipartisan solutions in order to fullfill the responsibilities that the constitution makes them bear. -
He had been President for less than two months, and answers questions to all these issues. I get the feeling back then the standard was much higher to become a relevant political figure than it is today.
-
What a great President. Had an actual grasp of the issues, and could always answer in depth questions. No one since, has come close to his intelligence. His murder is a loss that cannot be measured. RIP.
-
We don't have any politicians today who are able to answer questions with this kind of depth and intelligence.

Imagine Obama giving an address similar to this today
